At Centenary, and all around us, we are having to solve problems that we haven’t had to face before! One of the biggest issues Centenary is facing is that though many people are returning to worship, many of our young families don’t feel comfortable coming on Sunday mornings due to Sunday morning children’s and youth programing being put on pause. Thus we are trying an experiment, to continue to help our families in their spiritual formation and discipleship to Jesus.
We are naming this experiment the Family Worship Experiment. This experiment will be a new offering that will take place in our Multipurpose room starting at 10:15 A.M. on Sundays. This will be a 30-40 minute service allowing families to sit together around tables and share together in a worship experience. The teaching part of the service will be story based and we will have interactive parts of the service to encourage families to share in discussion questions, activities and prayer around their tables.
